Frequently Asked Questions

Colocation in Vietnam is the best solution for enterprises that need to run large-term Vietnam data center projects and are capable of self-system administering.

In data centers or server rooms, equipment is installed in rack cabinets, typically 19-inch or 23-inch racks. The 19-inch or 23-inch refers to the width of the rack (19 inches = 482.6 mm; 23 inches = 584.2 mm). The space within these 19-inch and 23-inch racks is measured in units (U), where 1U = 1.75 inches = 44.45 mm. This unit is a standard used by manufacturers to measure the height of equipment installed in the rack. When documentation states that a switch/hub/router/server is 1U, it means that it has a height of 44.45 mm. The dimensions of IT equipment are usually provided by manufacturers in multiples of 1U. The most common rack size is a 42U rack.
